# The Modern .NET Show
> An audio-only, interview-style podcast about modern .NET technologies, featuring 190 episodes with .NET developers and experts worldwide. Hosted by Jamie Taylor and produced in the UK by RJJ Software.
The Modern .NET Show (formerly known as The .NET Core Podcast) is an English-language podcast covering modern .NET — the open-source evolution of Microsoft's .NET Framework, sometimes incorrectly referred to as ".NET Core". Episodes are 45–70 minutes long and released every two weeks, with a break during the summer months. As of June 2026, 190 episodes have been published, totalling 194 hours of content across 8 seasons.
The producers describe the show as: "Formerly known as The .NET Core Podcast, we are the go-to podcast for all .NET developers worldwide. A podcast for .NET developers who want to stay ahead of the curve, providing an audio toolbox for modern .NET developers."
The [website](https://dotnetcore.show/) is built with a static site generator and is rebuilt automatically shortly after each new episode is released. It supports light and dark themes (toggle via the ☀️ button in the upper navigation), defaults to light, and persists the preference in a cookie.
