# Rinzo
> Rinzo is a hosted business phone system (cloud PBX) for small teams, built so AI agents can set it up and run it: users and extensions, desk phones and softphones, phone numbers, call routing with office hours and holidays, auto-attendants, ring groups, voicemail, call history and call events to other systems. People use the Control panel at https://app.rinzo.ai/; agents use the `rinzo` command-line tool against the same account API at https://app.rinzo.ai/v2. Early access: US & Canada only, and 911 is not supported.
## Instructions for AI agents
- For an existing account task, start with the [rinzo skill](https://rinzo.ai/agents/rinzo/SKILL.md) and read only the relevant reference. Check `rinzo version`; installed `--help` and `rinzo schema users create` describe the commands available on that computer.
- To set Rinzo up for someone, follow the [setup playbook](https://rinzo.ai/SKILL.md). It inherits the rinzo skill's authorization policy; presenting a plan and waiting is required only when requested.
- For a new account, the person starts the free month at https://signup.rinzo.ai/ (never handle card details). When installation is authorized, install the CLI: `curl -fsSL https://rinzo.ai/install.sh | sh` (Python 3.10+). Log in: `rinzo login --start`, show the person the link and code to approve, then `rinzo login --wait --timeout 100` (exit code 4: still waiting, run it again). Then `rinzo skill install` (`--agent codex` for Codex, `--dir DIR` for other agents)
